The JAG Jaguar Association Germany held their 2001 annual meeting in Wiesbaden, including a number of events especially for this year's E-Type's 40th birthday.
As one of the events of the three days "E-Type birthday party" (including a fun drive on 170 miles of "Taunus" country roads, with more than 80 cars on Saturday), on Sunday, July 22nd 2001 nearly 40 (!!) E-Types (as well as a large number of other Jaguar cars) had been presented in the "Kurpark Wiesbaden" for the pleasure not only of their drivers, but also of the public. Hundreds of visitors had been overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of the E-Type ... Special thanks for the perfect organization of one of the most impressing Jaguar oldtimer events of the last decade in Germany must go to Juergen Wieshoff and Mike Riedner, who did both - accompanied by many more helping hands - a terrific job!No matter if you shared or missed this meeting, you might enjoy my selection of great pictures! © 2001 for all pictures: Stephan Perthes
